Sometimes I think the greatest test is not when God says step out and move but rather when He says be still, wait and remain steadfast.
I have walked with the Lord for a long time and those seasons of quiet can be difficult. When you’re itching to move forward and your expectancy level is at an all-time high but in the natural, there is nothing. No breakthrough. No change. Nothing.
This is where the rubber meets the road.
Do you give up and decide to go it alone or… do you plant your feet further into His Word, grounding yourself deeper in knowing He is faithful and though you desperately want to move forward, continue to remain faithful in the season or place He has put you? Trusting that He has a plan and in His perfect timing, the next instruction will be given or the breakthrough seen. Continuing to fix your eyes on Him. Not letting disappointment rob you of your joy. Being unwavering in the power of the cross and standing firm in His victory.
So be encouraged… The Lord knows you and He knows what He is doing in your life. He has not forgotten and He has not left. He cares about your situation more than you could ever know. He sees you.
