Poetry in stories for children
Brilliant and Beautiful, The Africa’s Elephants
In Gentle hollows and African plains
The Africa’s elephants roam
Slow and lumbering, at mothers side
New life comes forth, in the evening tide
No one there only a whisper of the grassy plains
Freshness and beauty, in the morning rain.
Wondrous and graceful, rhythms, delights.
Mothers and babies, herds at night,
Sheltered under the moonlit, stars, so bright
Little ones gather, for mothers milk delights.
Sleepy babies, closing eyelids, under mother’s watchful eye.
This is home, in the African, moon lit sky
