This is the second year in a row during the holiday season, that I have collected food in our neighbourhood for the local food bank. During this Christmas season, I want to challenge all of you to give, either through the precious gift of time or resources, to a charity or event that will help others less fortunate. Jesus said, “ From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked” (Luke 12:48b NIV). Giving during this time of year is what Christmas is all about. God gave His greatest gift to the world in the form of His son Jesus.

Below is the flyer that I just recently handed out to my neighbours. I distribute this flyer about a week before I go house to house to collect food. This way people are prepared when I stop by to ask for donations.
